Sadie- Saturday Morning Shotgun Riding

So on Saturday mornings, I usually load up some of the border collies and we go to the local public park in Wills Point, TX to get in a little exercise and, in particularly, some ball chasing.  This seems to be one of the highlights of their week.  They can hardly control their excitement when I am trying to load them up.  They usually go in the back of the Blazer, but it is currently incapacitated.

Thus this morning, I had to take them in the Camry.  Sadie can not control herself in the back seat.  She will run from the left window to the right, and then back and forth the whole trip.  She will run over the other dogs in the back seat.

So in order to control this from happening, I have to make her ride shotgun.  She will sit there and stare intently at the approaching cars, all the while wanting the chance to stick her head out the back window and bark.  But being the obedient young lady she is, she will tolerate my decision to make her ride up front with me. This short video shows why she cracks me up with her riding style and stare.
